Betty Inman Reese

Columbia- Betty Inman Reese, 90, passed away November 30, 2016. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 3, 2016 in the mausoleum chapel at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. She was born March 20, 1926 in Lockhart, S.C., to Ernest and Minnie Inman. She was employed by the VA Hospital as the secretary to the Chief of Medicine and was a member of Shandon U.M.C. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, John E. Reese, Jr. and 11 siblings. Survivors include her son, Dr. John E. Reese, III, (Beverly); daughter, Jane Reese Hemphill (Robert); and six grandsons.
