Alex Christian Lail

Irmo – A memorial service to celebrate the life of Alex Christian Lail, 26, will be held Friday, March 29, 2019 at 4:00 pm at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. The family will receive visitors following the service at the funeral home.

Alex died, Tuesday, March 26, 2019. Born in Columbia, he was the son of Wayne E. Lail and the late Laurie Lea Jordon Lail.

He graduated from Lexington High School, where he was a member of the basketball team, and the University of South Carolina with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Technology. He worked in GIS mapping and was employed by Segra Communications.

He is survived by his father of Irmo, sister, Kelly Alsup; nephew, Ethan Alsup; two nieces, Ellie Alsup and Rylie Chambers; two brothers, Andrew Lail and Adam Lail; maternal grandmother, Annette Jordan; step-mother, Cathy Watters; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
