Ms. Wanda Gay Selman Broom, age 71 of Columbia, MS passed away Thursday. July 9, 2020 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. A native to Columbia, she was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Ms. Broom was preceded in death by her parents, Warren J. Selman, Sr. and Margaret Jo Barber Selman. She is survived by her sons, Mark Broome and wife, Vicki of Sumrall, MS, Bradley Broome of Purvis, MS, and Barry Broome and wife, Kimberly of Seminary, MS; two sisters, Jo Beth Crout and husband, Louis of Columbia, MS, and Cathy Selman of Vonore, TN; a brother, Warren J. Selman, Jr. of Columbia; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia where family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Reverend Millard Moak will preside over services and interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
