Vickie Burge, 61, passed away on Friday, August 9, 2024 at her home in Marion County, MS. She was a native of Columbia, MS and was a homemaker. Vickie enjoyed the simple things in life including sitting down with coffee and a good book being she was an avid reader which helped her homeschool her children and a grandson for a season, ensuring their educational success. Most of all, she loved her family and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren.
Vickie was preceded in death by her parents, Clifton Tolar and Bobbie Kay Wesley Tolar. Her memory will live on and be forever cherished by her husband, Phil Burge of Columbia; her daughter, Megan Lowery (Brandon) of Sumrall, MS; her son, Cody Burge of Jayess, MS; a sister, Wanda Davis of Van Cleave, MS; and four grandchildren, Wyatt Burge, Avereigh Lowery, Lane Lowery, and Adalee Lowery.
A graveside service, officiated by Reverend Jeff Morris, will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the Burge Family Cemetery on Firetower Rd in Columbia.
