Teresa Branch Alderman, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at the age of 73. Teresa had been a resident of Eagle Lake, Mississippi for 15 years prior to moving to Marion County five years ago. She was a former member of Eagle Lake Baptist Church and is currently a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Known for her colorful personality, Teresa was very social and she enjoyed people and lake life in Eagle Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Evelyn Branch; a brother, Sonny Branch; and her beloved husband of 50 years, Tommy Alderman. Teresa is survived by her brother, David Branch (Beverly); a sister-in-law, Kathy Branch; and four nephews, Jamie Branch, Cole Branch (Kelsey), Whitney Branch (Kelsey), and Cody Branch (Laurel).
The funeral service, officiated by Doctor Tim Parker, will be at Colonial Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at 11:00am. Friends may visit with the family from 9:00am until service time. The committal service will be at 3:00pm in Lakewood Memorial Park Cemetery in Jackson, Mississippi where she will be laid to rest.
