Rylee Danielle Martin passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the beautiful age of 11 years old. She was a homeschooler and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church where she was active in the children’s ministry and sang in the choir. Rylee’s hobbies included gymnastics and softball. She also had a huge love of animals and was a ray of sunshine to everyone, especially her brother and sister to whom she had a close and inseparable bond.
Rylee is survived by her parents, Bryce and Rebekah Martin; sister, Katelee Grace Martin; brother, Owen Chase Martin; maternal grandparents, Rickey Lee Davis and Shelia Hunt Davis; paternal grandparents, Reverend Willie Martin and Pauline Martin; and a host of aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia and funeral services on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Reverend Dave Nichols and Reverend Ron Jordan officiating. Rylee will be laid to rest at Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery assisted by Bryce Martin, Owen Martin, Willie Martin, Rickey Davis, Joshua Davis, and Ryan Davis serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Brock Martin, and Brant Martin.
