Roxie L. Morgan

Roxie L. Morgan, age 79 passed away Sunday, March 20, 2022 at her residence in Morgantown, MS. She was a longtime member of Morgantown Church of God and worked as a nurse’s aide and later with West Marion County Schools.

Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Morgan; parents, Ollie O. Yawn and Lora Speed Yawn; and all of her siblings. Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Johnny Morgan, and Scott Morgan, both of Morgantown; four grandchildren; William Morgan of Yellow Springs, OH, Harley Morgan of Rayford, NC, Jimmy Morgan of McComb, MS, and Dora Morgan of Woodville, MS; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, MS where family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00 pm until service time. Burial will follow at Morgantown Cemetery.
