Rae Michele Pritchett, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the age of 72. She was born in Florida to Raymond and Edna Faciane and lived many years in Louisiana until moving to Columbia in 1996. Rae enjoyed life and was known for being a prankster. The highlight of her year was three weekends around Halloween when she would create a haunted trail through the woods on her property for the entertainment of her community. Rae was a hard worker who was devoted to her family. She enjoyed crafting and craft shows where she sold many of the items that she created. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family. Rae was a member of Spring Cottage Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and Rae is survived by four children, Lonnie Hilling, Angela Montalbano (Peter), Amanda Pritchett, and Ray Pritchett; a sister, Diane Vance; and five grandchildren, Annabelle Hilling, Kole Hilling, Serenity Griffith, Eric Brown, and Jeffery Brown.
The funeral service for Rae will be private.
