Ophelia Mills

Mrs. Ophelia Mills, longtime resident of Foxworth, MS passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Merit Health Wesley in Hattiesburg, MS just two days before her 97th birthday. She owned Mills Decorating in Columbia, MS and was a member of Foxworth First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mills was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Mills; son, Donald R. Mills; parents, Hubert Stapleton and Lether Carter Stapleton; and six siblings. Survivors include her son, David Mills; four grandchildren, Jeff Mills, Tamara Haleem, Tracie David, and John Mills; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Foxworth Cemetery where visitation will begin at 10:15 AM. Reverend Tyler Chavis will preside over services and interment will follow at the conclusion of services.
