Nichol “Nikki” George, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at the age of 43. She was born in Shreveport, Louisiana and has been a resident of Marion County for the past 37 years. She was a song writer and loved performing her music and playing guitar. Nikki was a loving mother and grandmother and will be remembered as a great companion and loyal friend who was always willing to help anyone in need. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie “Sonny” George. Nikki is survived by two daughters, Justine Stogner and Katelynn Stogner; a son, Blaine Stogner; her mother, Debra Argus; a sister, Brenda (Travis) Sistrunk; a brother, Willie George, III; three grandchildren, Austyn Bourne, Elijah Stogner, and Adalynn Bourne; and many loving friends. The visitation will be on Monday, April 12, 2021, from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel and burial will be in Victory Cemetery.
