Michael John "Mike" Hutchins

Michael John “Mike” Hutchins, of Natchez, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the age of 68. He was born and raised in Marion County, Mississippi and has been a resident of Natchez for the past 30 years. Mike was a truck driver for over 40 years and worked for many years with Plains All American Pipeline. He was best described as a “happy-go-lucky” man who loved Ole Miss and Elvis. Mike was devoted to his family and will be remembered for the deep love he had for his wife and children.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Hutchins; and a brother, Roger Hutchins. Mike is survived by his wife, Carolyn Hutchins; three daughters, Meagen Hutchins, Michaela Hutchins, and Chynna Hutchins; three sons, Jonathan Hutchins (Dana), Michael Hutchins II, and Bryce Hutchins; a brother, Jimmy Carl Hutchins (Jeannette); six grandchildren, Adaya Hutchins, Gunner Hutchins, Gracelyn Hutchins, Makenna Hutchins, Christian Ware, Kenneth “Tre” Ware; an aunt, Dianne Smith (Hugh Gene); and many nieces and nephews.

There will be a funeral service for Mike at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at 2:00pm. Friends may visit with the family from 1:00pm until service time. He will be laid to rest in Foxworth Cemetery.
