Martha Prine Norton

Mrs. Norton was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Prine and Nell Gates Prine; and sister, Carol Ann Prine Kemp. She is survived by her husband, David Norton of Columbia; two daughters, Olivia Davis Steele of Purvis, MS, and Linda Norton Askew (Scotty) of Columbia; a sister, Linda Prine Blansett (Scottie Bedwell) of Columbia; two brothers, Robert Prine (Bridget) of Oxford, MS, and Charlie Prine (Susan) of Columbia; four grandchildren, Lane Steele, Breanna Mixon, Lori Anne Steele, and Cameran Housley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Martha will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Cedar Grove Baptist Church where friends may visit with family from 9:00 AM until service time. Reverend Tommy Broom and Reverend Skeeter Vasillion will officiate at the service and burial will follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery assisted by Bobby Housley, Nick Expose, Lane Steele, Sydney Broom, Mike Cooper, Zackary McNeese as pallbearers, and Scottie Bedwell and Dan Speights as honorary pallbearers.
