Maggie L Johnson

Maggie L. Johnson, of Foxworth, Mississippi, passed from this life into God’s presence on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at the age of 76. She was born in McComb, Mississippi to John and Ethel Mosley and has been a resident of Marion County since 1971. Maggie was mostly a “homebody.” However, she did enjoy going to flea markets and auction sales. She was a member of Life Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Christine Mosley; three brothers, Robert Mosley, James Mosley, and Donnie Mosley; two daughters, Brenda Edwards and Denise Louge; two sons, Noel William “Will” Jackson and Kevin Johnson; and a granddaughter, Tiffany Parrett. Maggie is survived by her husband, Leroy Johnson; a daughter, Kimberly Yates; three sons, Norman Parrett, Brian Louge, Quitman Louge; a sister, Tina Daffin; two brothers, Thomas Mosley and Johnny Mosley; fourteen grandchildren, Lori Edwards, Whitney Edwards, Phillip Edwards, Travis Parrett, Jennifer Rozinski, Joni Johnson, Brittany Louge, Chloe Louge, Kyle Louge, and Cole Louge, Alex Louge, Javana Hunt, Makayla Hunt, and Tyler Phillips; ten great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation for Maggie at Colonial Funeral Home on Friday, May 12, 2023 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. The funeral service, officiated by Reverend Lon Keen, will be in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Foxworth Cemetery.
