Kenneth Randy McNease, age 63 unexpectedly passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023. He was a resident of Columbia, MS and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Randy worked 21 years in the oilfield, and 15 years with the Mississippi Forestry Commission from where he retired. Randy also had many passions in life which included hunting, and confederate re-enacting, and he was a gunsmith and motorcycle enthusiast.
Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth McNease and Jimmie Nell Gore McNease. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Melinda McNease; his daughter, Amanda Bergeron (Lance); step-son, Trent Barber (Danielle), brother, Jerry McNease; grandchildren, Hayden Barber, Jolee Barber, Taryn Barber, and Aedyn Barber; step-grandchildren, Logan Bergeron, and Katelyn Kinler; two step-great-grandchildren; and a niece.
A visitation will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 10:30am until 1:30pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia followed by a graveside service at 2:00pm at Woodlawn Cemetery.
