Darrell Bracey, age 60, of the Darbun Community, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. He was a man of great faith and a lifelong member of Pine Grove Pentecostal Church where he was active in various activities of the church. Darrell was an electrician and a licensed pilot. He would often enjoy adventurous travels flying to exotic and interesting locales. Most of all, Darrell loved and enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren, who were his entire world.
Mr. Bracey was preceded in death by his father, James Bracey. His memory will be forever cherished by his wife, Bridgette Bracey of Darbun; his daughter, Brittney Morgan (Austin) of the White Bluff Community; his son, Derek Bracey (Ashley) of Darbun; his mother, Betty Bracey Wade of Darbun; brother, Michael Bracey (Connie) of Columbia, MS; six grandchildren, Beau Parker Bracey, Kortlyn Bracey, Pierce Morgan, Carson Morgan, Evie Morgan, and Ellis Morgan; and a host of extended family and numerous friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Pine Grove Pentecostal Church where family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until service time. Reverend Randall Dunaway, Reverend Randall McKay, and Reverend Phillip Rhodes will officiate and burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery assisted by Steven Bracey, Devin Bracey, Tyler Phillips, Josh Hamilton, Dwayne Hamilton, Randall Terry, and Jeffrey Tanksley as pallbearers.
