Carolyn Robbins Moree

Carolyn Robbins Moree, of Columbia, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the age of 81. She was a lifelong resident of Marion County where she worked for many years at Pioneer Aerospace. Carolyn was a past Worthy Matron and active for many years with the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a longtime member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Moree; her parents, Oscar and Sarah Robbins; a grandson, Bo Moree; and a sister, Rachel Sealig. Carolyn is survived by a daughter, Melanie Moree; a son, Keith Moree; a sister, Alavene (Gerald) Sanders; three brothers, Clyde (Mae) Robbins, Alfred (Betty) Robbins, and Sherman Robbins; six grandchildren, Sarah Carney, Jamie Lee, Michael Ward, Shane Moree, Mitchell Moree, and Rachelle Cox; eleven great-grandchildren, Layken Carney, Tripp O’Quin, Shelia Cox, Joan Cox, John Cox, Gabe Cox, Jasmine Lee, TJ Jackson, Diamond Jackson, Alexia Moree, and Makaleigh Moree. The funeral service, officiated by, Brother Doug Barber, will be at the graveside in Brushy Creek #2 Cemetery on Sanders Road at 2:30pm on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 and friends may visit with the family from 2:00pm until service time. Burial will follow assisted by Shane Moree, Mitchell Moree, Ashton Moree, John Cox, Gabe Cox, and Greg Robbins serving as pallbearers.
