Mr. Alton R. Hall

Funeral services will be held Tuesday Oct. 30. 2012 in the chapel of Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia, Ms at 1pm for Mr.Alton R. Hall who passed away Saturday Oct 27, 2012 at his residence in the Baylis Chapel Community near Columbia, Ms. Interment will be in the Old Brushy Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday Oct 29, 2012 at the funeral home 5 til 9PM. Services will be officiated by Elder Douglas Barber, assisted by Rev. Ed Steele and Rev. Mike Aultman. Mr. Hall was retired from Texaco Oil Co. after 20 years of service and also is a member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Willie D. and Lossie E. Weaver Hall, four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife Donnis Thornhill Hall of Columbia, a daughter Angela Courtney(Greg) of Sumrall, two sons Steven Hall(Trenna), Robert Scott Hall (Leigh) all of Sumrall, two sisters Mary Davis of Carthage, Ms. Lee Cummins of Lawrence, Ms. two brothers Franklin Hall of Brandon, Ms, Johnny Hall of Polaski, Ms, five grandchildren, Monica Barron, Amber Courtney, Keleigh Hall, Braylen Hall, Allie Hall, three great grands Christoper Barron, Morgan Barron and Cooper Barron. Mr. Hall also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
