Alice M. Pace, age 69 of Columbia, MS passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at her residence. A native of Sandy Hook, MS, she was employed as a seamstress for a number of years with Pioneer Aerospace. Alice was an avid book reader and was currently attending The Church on Main in Columbia.
Ms. Pace was preceded in death by her first husband, Sam Carley Pace, Jr.; daughter, Audrey Lynn Pace; son, Roy Patrick Pace; parents, Kenneth and Mildred Stringer; and sister, Hope Stringer. She is survived by five sisters, Rachel (Clark) Lowery, Ruth Sullivan, Hilda (Tom) Tarver, Ann (Michael) Rogers, and Reci McKenzie, all of Sandy Hook; a brother, Kenny (Patty) Stringer of Sandy Hook; and a host of nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00pm at Colonial Funeral Home in Columbia where friends may visit with family from 10:30am until service time. Reverend Zack Smith and Reverend Dwight Pace will preside over services and interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Jesus Name Apostolic Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric McKenzie, Durante Pace, Channing Stringer, William Billingsley, Justin Bedwell, Jeremy Pounds, and Justin Pace. Honorary pallbearers will Be Ethan Thornhill, and Anden Ellis.
