William Henry Green, 76, of Columbia passed away on Friday September 13, 2024 at the Harry S Truman Veterans Hospital.
Services will be Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Memorial Funeral Home with Visitation 10 – 11 AM and a Service at 11 AM. Full Military Honors will follow.
Bill was born on October 14, 1947 in Warrenton, Missouri the son of Thomas Edward Green and Mildred Juanita (Mclean) Green. On June 2, 1967 in Phoenix, Arizona William was united in marriage to Cheryl Darlene Mead who survives in their home.
Bill enjoyed watching drag racing, playing the guitar and watching wrestling. He and Cheryl enjoyed traveling and spent two years on the road with their fifth wheel until his health made him give it up.
Bill is survived by his wife: Cheryl; their children: Jody (Marsha) Green; Jesse (Jennifer) Green; Kimberly (Jeff) Forck; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother: John (Robbie) Green a brother in law: Jim Hayes and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Bob; David; Sam; two sisters: Frances Ann Bias; Mary Lou Hayes and one granddaughter: Jessica Robb.
