Bill was born the son of William F. and Lillian (Pascal) Willenbrink Sr. on April 3, 1932 in Mexico, MO. Bill attended and graduated from St. Peters Catholic School in Jefferson City MO. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served during the Korean Conflict from 1951 – 1955, and was honorably discharged in May of 1955. He was united in marriage to Alma Stoehr September 8, 1956. To this union they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Debra Kay and Lisa Ann.
Bill and Alma are long time members of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Columbia, MO. Bill worked as a sheet metal worker and air balance technician for Hulett HVAC and Harold G. Butzer Mechanical Contractors for many years. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers Local 474 and Local 36 and retired in 1992. During his working days and after retiring, Bill enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and working with his hands.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alma; daughter, Lisa (Larry) Freesemann; grandchildren, Lianne (Kyle) Detrick, Lauren Freesemann, and Lynn Freesemann; along with a host of relatives and friends.
Greeting him in heaven with open arms are Moms, Dads, Jack, Debra, and Richard.
Visitation and Funeral Services will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes in Columbia on November 2, 2021. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 11:00 am with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, you may donate in Bill’s name to the Parkinson’s Foundation Heartland chapter.
