Bart Maxwell, 52, of Rocheport, MO entered into rest on September 13th 2014 in St. Louis, MO surrounded by his loved ones. Bart was born in Jefferson City, MO to Charlie and Carolyn Wilson Maxwell on February 12, 1962. He attended Hickman High School. On May 5th, 1984 he married the love of his life Mary Turner. Bart worked as a Tow truck driver for Tiger Towing, Carl’s Towing, and I-70 towing, and was also employed with FedEx. He was currently employed as a driver for Freie Trucking of New Franklin. He joined Ancient Landmark Lodge #356 in 2006. Bart had many interests in his free time. He enjoyed hunting on his family farm, Nascar racing, competition barbequing with his buddy Alan, family dinners, poker nights with family and friends, and shopping. One of the most highlights of his life was letting his grandson Eli ride in his lap and honking his horn as he drove around the yard. Bart is survived by his wife Mary, parents Charlie and Carolyn Maxwell, his brother James (Julie) Maxwell, daughter Megan (Leon) Bontrager, son Cody Wayne Maxwell, grandson Eli Turner Bontrager, his mother in law Francis Gentry Turner all of Rocheport and a number of extended family members. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made for Eli Bontrager and or Shriners Hospital in care of Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Bus Loop 70 West, Columbia, MO 65202. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the many family and friends who have shown such great support during this difficult time. Bart will remain in our hearts forever.
