Tina Denise Hill

Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. – Noon, Saturday, May 19, 2018 with funeral services to follow at Noon at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend Caroles Taylor, officiating.

Tina was a 1981 graduate of Hickman High School. In 1985 she was united in marriage to Christopher Kee. She was employed at University Hospital for 15 years followed by five years at Ellis Fischel Hospital. She operated her own child daycare and was a respite provider. Tina was a foster parent for more than 20 years. She was a caring and loving person. She was a woman of her word and she loved to laugh. She was always ready to give help to anyone in need. She loved to cook and seemed happiest when all the family was gathered in her home eating her home cooking. She held the extended family together. She enjoyed traveling and playing poker.

Tina is survived by her mother: Kathryn Gross; her former husband: Christopher Kee; her children: Ashley Kee; Christopher Kee; Jeremy Kee-Hill; Garnesh Horton-Hill; Elejah McKinney-Hill and Jean’Ann Hill. She was a mother to all her children including:Greg (Natalie) Dixon; April Wells; Donna Jones; grandchildren: Nicco White; Nia White-Johnson; Jeremian Dixon; Josiah Dixon; Myalia Flowers; D’Quajanay Mitchell, D’Nozea Spain; Aleyna Kashama; nieces and nephews: Ronald Kee; Chad Gross; Ryan Kee; Autumn Kee; Brittany Gross; R’lonte Kee; Mi’Anyea Gross; Chad Gross, Jr.; Chayden Gross; Lewis Bynum; Rachel Bynum; Quincy Bynum; Alexis Burrell; Rosalee Gross; Nicole White; Tyler Gray; Elianna Gray; Ma’Kyrin Penny; sisters: Tonya (Howard) Houston; Teena Marie O’Field; Sarah Gray; step-sister: Jackie Washington; brothers: Sherman (Samara) Bynum; Donald Burrell; Leland Ballinger; a favorite Uncle: Kenneth Agee (Earlene) and two favorite cousins: Crystal Agee and Shelia LeFlora.

Tina was preceded in death by her father: Donald M. Hill; one sister: Teresa Hill; step-brother: Tony Washington; step-father: Paul Gross; grand-parents: Donald and Vergie Agee; grand-mother Olive D. Hill; and grand-father: Garling Hill.
