Al was born on February 10, 1938 and raised in Omaha, NE, Al was the youngest of three siblings born to Louis A. Palladino and Madeleine (Williamson) Palladino. Al was a life-long devotee to environmental education and conservation, having worked as a high school biology teacher and for nearly 30 years for the Missouri Department of Conservation within the Outreach and Education Division. He was a sometimes artist and always a photographer, a keen observer of nature, a hunter and outdoorsman. He passed along his great respect and love for the natural world to his three children with whom he reconnected in his later years. All are grateful for the chance to have been present for him.
Al is survived by two daughters, Madonna Palladino of Minneapolis, MN and Michaelene Knudsen of Hermann, MO, and one son, Erik Palladino, also of Hermann, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Joan Anderson and Shirley Shawhan, and infant daughter, Michelle Theresa Palladino.
