He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 26, 1975. Robert was a graduate of Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri. He enjoyed his career at Isle of Capri in Boonville, Missouri and had happily spent the past 14 years with his significant other, Valerie Moore.
Robert was passionate about sports, especially the Green Bay Packers, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Milwaukee Brewers. He also enjoyed playing table games with his friends while not at work. His smile and humor will be missed by many.
He is survived by his partner Valerie; parents Richard and Mary (Recker) Loftus; sister Laurie (Loftus) Acison; nephew Chadwick Acison; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and a host of friends. He will also be deeply missed by his cat Meloy. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Victor and Alice Recker and Gilman and Sarah Loftus; as well as uncles Andrew Recker, Robert O. Loftus, and Gene Loftus.
A gathering of friends will be held on Thursday, December 21 from 1 PM – 4 PM at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West in Columbia. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Second Chance Rescue or Best Friends Animal Shelter in Sedalia, MO.
