Renda Lynn Nichols

Visitation will be on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home, Columbia, MO. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Renda was born on September 21, 1955 in Chanute, KS the daughter of Jerry Lee Griffith and Dorthalie Fern Thielenhaus. She was raised by Phil and Dorthalie (Dodie) Phillips. She was married in 1977 in Columbia, MO to William Loran McMahon who preceded her in death. She was then married in 1991 in Columbia, MO to Nick Nichols who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Destiny Pointe Church and enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: two children: Christy McMahon (Brock Wright) of Ashland, MO and Travis McMahon (Lori Flores) of Hitchcock, TX; her mother, Dodie Phillips of Columbia, MO; three brothers, Ricky Phillips (Ann), Rodney Phillips (Mary) and Deon Griffith; six grandchildren, Aliyah McMahon, Aliyana McMahon, William McMahon Jr, Brock Wright, Isaiah McMahon, and Alanah McMahon. She was also preceded in death by her father, Jerry Griffith and Phil Phillips.
