Qunnah Kay Anderson, 75 of Boone County passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at her home. She was born December 29, 1948, in Stephans, Missouri the daughter of Augustus and Leila (Worsham) Stuart who preceded her in death. She was a graduate of Hallsville High School and on March 9, 1966, she was united in marriage to Gary Anderson who survives her passing.
Qunnah worked as an author, pattern designer, crafter, sales associate at Joann’s, homemaker as well as owning her own plant store. She was a member of the African Violet Club. She had a passion for studying the bible, gardening, collecting coins, knitting, crocheting and working puzzles.
Qunnah is survived by her husband: Gary; her children: Veronica (Bret) Loudermilk; Alex (Jennifer) Anderson; Melinda (Tony) Pope; nine grandchildren: Ashley (Zach) Nikin, Matt Smith, Alexa (Chris) Gorman, Eric (Michaela) Pope, Scott Pope, Sebastian Canine, Tayla Robinson, Ace Anderson, Avery Anderson; six great grandchildren: Harper, Maddox and Brooks Nikin; Troy, Brynlee and Vivian Pope; three siblings: Francis (Ben) Young; Leota Young and Dale Stuart. Qunnah was preceded in death by her parents: and two sisters: Betty Stone and Molly Strawn.
