Patrick Edward Clawson

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Fr. Francis Doyle celebrating Mass. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born on July 16, 1985 in Columbia the son of Douglas E. and Anna Mae (Westermier) Clawson, both of whom survive at the home.

Patrick was a 2004 graduate of Rockbridge High School. He earned an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design Technology from MACC. He enjoyed drawing and drafting and sports of all kinds, especially St. Louis Cardinal Baseball. He loved taking walks on many of the paved trails around Columbia, and Patrick attended MDA summer camps for many years.

He is survived by: his parents; 2 sisters, Janice Clawson of Columbia and Jennifer Bratton (James) of Carl Junction; paternal grandparents Robert E. and Patricia Clawson of Brookfield; maternal grandmother Florence Westermier of La Monte; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by Frank Gardner, who was an aide to Patrick in school and who became a close and treasured family and personal friend. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joseph Westermier; an uncle Kenneth Clawson; and a cousin Eric Jennings.
