Opal loved fishing the Missouri River, bowling, being with family, kids, and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred R. Shaw; son-in-law, Thomas Cochran; two brothers; and two sisters.
She is survived by children, Debra Cochran, Cheryl (Roger) Snodgrass; grandchildren, Thomas (Amber) Cochran, Joseph (Katie) Cochran, and Brad (Allison) Shaw; 6 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
The family will receive visitors at 1030am on Friday, September 10th, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 W, Columbia, MO 65202. A graveside service will follow in the cemetery at Noon.
