A visitation will be held from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Monday, November 7, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home with the funeral service following at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia.
Nina was born June 24, 1920, in Boone County, Missouri, the daughter of John Walter and Cora Alice (Alspaw) Hopper.
On March 23, 1940, Nina married Lynn Drane. They had three daughters: Nina Kay, Lynda Fay and Alice Jane.
Nina is survived by her daughter, Nina Kay (Drane) Clementz (Larry) of Sturgeon; grandchildren, Michael Burks (Rhonda) of Sturgeon, Christy Schnarre (Darin) of Centralia, Mark Clementz of Laramie, Wyoming, Jeff Clementz (Anna) of Hallsville, Carrie Schultz (Eddie) of Centralia, and Jacque Truesdell (Brent) of Hallsville; great-grandchildren, Brittany Bradley (Travis), Ashton Stoebe, Jackson Burks, Brooke Schnarre, Zachary Schnarre, Blair Schnarre, Olivia Clementz-Gellis, Kaleb Schultz, Katelyn Schultz, Luke Truesdell, Jack Truesdell, Beau Clementz, Marley Clementz, and Josie Clementz; as well as great-great grandchildren, Bennett Stoebe and Addison Bradley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lynn Drane; sisters, Eula Hopper, Lillie Bradley, and Walsie Bradley; brothers, John Hopper and Clinton Hopper; daughters, Lynda Fay (Drane) Daly and Jane (Drane) Boyce; and a granddaughter, Julie Ann Clementz.
Nina and Lynn were married and lived in Harrisburg for 59 years on the Drane farm. Nina was a 50 year member of the Eastern Star and member of the Harrisburg Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her garden, quilting, and spending time with her family.
