Mary Ann Hyatt (Nee: Pipal) of Columbia, MO joined The Lord in glory on Saturday, September 16th, 2023. She was born on October 14th, 1931 in Marshall, MO to the late Dallas J. Pipal and Geneva Ann Pipal (Nee: Black). Mary reached the age of 91.
After attending Central Missouri College in Warrensburg, MO, she was united in marriage to John B. Hyatt on December 23rd, 1953. At that time John became a State Farm Agent where they qualified for wonderful trips and gained life long friendships. Mary was a member of The Missouri United Methodist Church, a Pink Lady, a King's Daughter, a member of Kappa Delta sorority, a Life Master at Bridge, and she loved her trips with 'the girls' and playing golf.
Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband John B Hyatt; her parents Dallas and Geneva Pipal; and her brother William Pipal. Grateful surviving family members are son, William B. Hyatt; daughter, Victoria H. Ledbetter; son-in-law, Jim H Ledbetter; and two grandchildren, Brett and Becky Ledbetter. She was an amazing Spouse, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, and Friend to many.
A visitation will be held at 10 AM at The Missouri United Methodist Church with 11 AM Celebration of Life service Saturday September 23. Immediately following, a light lunch in the Parlour. The Graveside Service will take place at 1:30 PM at Memorial Gardens for the family.
