Mary Ellen Bieri

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 5-7 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 10 am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia, MO.

Mary was born on November 11, 1938 in Fulton, MO the daughter of Norman and Edith (Wickell) McAtee who proceeded her in death. She was married in Fulton, MO on February 27, 1960 to Bobby Dean Bieri who proceeded her in death on April 15, 2015.

Mary was a true daughter of Mid-Missouri. She enjoyed growing flowers, bird watching and she was an avid reader. She loved Cardinal baseball and watched every game. She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities. A most caring and giving soul, her family was everything to her.

She is survived by two sons, Steve Bieri (Brenda) of Benton, AR and David Bieri (Tamberlyn) of Ballwin, MO; one daughter Susan Washington (Brian) of Columbia, MO; two brothers, William McAtee and Phillip McAtee and five grandchildren, Spenser Washington, Sydney Washington, Kaelin Bieri, Jacob Bieri and Olivia Bieri.
