Lori Ann McBride

Lori was born on April 15th,1961, to Richard and Patsy Hampton in Columbia, Missouri. After graduating she went on to work for the local courthouse and Shell Engineering for many years. Lori and David McBride were married for over 20 years. Lori was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had an uncanny ability to find beauty and happiness in day to day life. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining and enjoyed Nascar and drag races. Lori had a huge heart and loved to decorate and share her Christmas Spirit. Above all what was important to Lori was spending time with friends and family and making memories.

Lori is preceded in death by her father Richard Hampton. She is survived by her husband of over 20 years, David McBride; son Caleb (Aimee) Hampton; her mother, Patsy Hampton; brother, Richard Hampton, Jr.; sister, Sherry Hampton; step-daughter Jesse (Shannon) Benedict; grandchildren Elizabeth Bopp and Hank Hampton; great-granddaughter Millicent MacGawen, as well as a nephew Chase (Janelle) Greening and great-nieces Payton and Presley.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, October 20th, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Bus Loop 70 W Columbia, MO 65202.
