Linda Lou Morris

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 12, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Linda was born on March 23, 1942 in Columbia, MO the daughter of John Harrison and Lovenia Frances (Sims) Nowlin who preceded her in death. She was married on February 3, 1961 to Kenneth Morris for 31 years. She retired in 2007 from Boone Hospital as a dietician.

Linda was a very active and dedicated member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She joined the Auxiliary on November 21, 2000. She served as an Officer for many of the past 16 years; and was currently serving as a Trustee. Linda donated and helped with many of the Eagle’s fundraisers and events.

Survivors include: her daughter, Ginger Berets (Eric) of Columbia, MO; her son, Ben Morris (Christina) of Columbia, MO; one brother, Johnny Nowlin; two sisters, Norma Johnson and Kay Jackson; five grandchildren, Tyler Miller, Morgan Berets, Harrison Berets, Alyssa Morris and Colin Morris and two great granddaughters, Makenna Berets and Raegan Miller. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Nowlin, Harold Nowlin and Chuck Nowlin.
