Kim was born June 15, 1959 in Columbia to parents Bobby Lee and Juanita (Terry) Palmer. Kim was a Hickman High School graduate and went on to installing and repairing alarm systems, eventually he became an employee of the city of Columbia in their IT department. June 18, 1983 Kim married the love of his life Joyce Huelsman and they just celebrated 40 years together.
Kim had a passion for board games, some of his favorites being Risk and Monopoly. He even enjoyed attending and holding tournaments. He had a love of history and tinkering with gadgets, specifically clocks. Kim and his wife Joyce enjoyed watching the Cardinals together when they could. Kim never met a stranger. He was able to strike up a conversation with anyone. He will missed dearly by many friends and family members.
Kim was predeceased by his parents and brother Dale Wayne Palmer.
Kim is survived by his wife; children Rosemary Palmer and Charles Lee Palmer; sister Brenda Lee Bross.

A visitation for Kim will be held Friday, August 4, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Memorial Funeral Home/Columbia, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
