Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm at Memorial Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will follow at 2:30 pm at the funeral home.
Mike was born on February 22, 1943 in Richmond Heights, MO the son of Kenneth and Ada Manes Krause who preceded him in death. He was married on June 8, 1975 in Columbia, MO to Carol Wright Krause. He owned and operated Krause Plumbing. Known for his rich voice and sense of humor, Mike performed voice work for local advertising and entertainment projects. He especially enjoyed any time spent with his band of brothers from Hickman’s class of ’61. A cowboy at heart, Mike loved any adventure involving horses. He especially enjoyed the 1989 Montana Centennial Cattle Drive, from which he returned sunburned, sore and profoundly happy.
Survivors include: his wife, Carol Krause of the home, his brother-in-law, Joe Wright (Dianna) of Olathe, KS, his uncle Jack Krause (Marian) of Saint Louis, and many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Donor’s Choice, c/o Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West, Columbia, MO 65202. As an alternative or additional memorial to Mike, he and Carol suggest having a riotous good time with someone you love.
