Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 9, 2018, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Kenneth was born on February 8, 1939, in Columbia, MO, the son of Mancle Guss and Anna Mae (Perkins) Kintner, both of whom preceded him in death. He was married on November 15, 1963, in Columbia, MO, to Betty (Havens) Kintner, who survives at the home.
Kenneth served in the United States Navy. He retired from the University of Missouri-Columbia where he worked as an Electrician. After retirement, he worked at several jobs including taxi driving and as a courier for Bob McCosh Chevrolet. He enjoyed going to Boonville to the Isle of Capri Casino, playing scratch-offs and watching NASCAR races. He loved spending time on the Osage River.
Besides his wife of 54 years, he is survived by: one son, Robert Kintner of Fulton; grandchildren: Tara Kintner and Robert Kintner, II; siblings: Donald Kintner, Ruth Evert, Carl Kintner, Mancle Kintner, Jr, all of Columbia, Mary Curtis and Edward Kintner of Jefferson City, and Marilyn Gibbon of Bismarck, MO; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: one daughter, Teresa Kintner; one sister, Carolyn Downey; and one grandchild, Holly Kintner.
