John D. Morrison, Jr, 95, of Columbia passed away on December 1, 2014 in his home. John was born December 5, 1918 to John and Bessie Morrison in Columbia, Missouri. He married Oma McMillen and they were together for 74 years before she preceded him in death. He served in the US Navy during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons: Larry and Jim Morrison. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Richey; his son, Robert J. Morrison; his grandchildren: Camala Cherry, Jamie Morrison, Velvet Morrison, and Leslie Morrison; and many great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Memorial Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to service.
