Jason Mathew Stone

Jason Mathew Stone, 41 of Columbia, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2022 at Boone Hospital. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 5, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life beginning at 11:00 a.m.

Jason was born in Columbia, Missouri on December 14, 1981 the son of Junior Stone and Adrienne (Cordell) Stone. He attended Hickman High School. At the time of his passing, Jason was employed by Central Missouri Community Action as a crew chief in the weatherization program. He took great pride in his work of helping others maintain their homes safely and energy efficiently. He was also an accomplished musician and enjoyed playing the guitar. He had a loving and caring heart and found joy in making others feel good. Jason was always quick to offer words of encouragement and support to all he knew, making each person feel special and loved. He cherished his family and friends.

Jason is survived by his significant partner, Melissa Baker and her children, Austin, Cameron, and Sienna, as well as their children (who lovingly called Jason “Pop, Pop”) Ashley Little and their daughter, Addison Stone as well as Chevy Love; Cameron Little; Abra Stone and their son, Caleb Stone; his father, Junior Stone; two brothers, Randy Stone (Michael Antinoro) and Jessie Stone; and a hosts of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Adrienne, as well as grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
