Irene Burton, 93, of Centralia, MO passed away, Sunday, October 16, 2016 in Centralia. A private family graveside service will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Columbia. Friends are welcome for a memorial gathering at Memorial Funeral Home from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm On Wednesday, October 19th.
Irene was born February 3, 1923 in Centralia, MO to Victor and Mary Wilson Branham. On November 11, 1945, she married Gene Paul Burton in Manhattan, KS; he preceded her in death in May, 2004.
Irene is survived by her three daughters, Becky (Richard) Erdel, Pam (Jack) Overman, & Paula (Charles) Chapman all of Columbia; three grandchildren, Grant (Ansley) Erdel of Chevy Chase, MD, Courtney Erdel Woods of Overland Park, KS, & Zach (Liam) Chapman of Chicago, IL; and five great-grandchildren, Cash, Hagan, Lawson, Tom, & Will.
