Glenda was born October 6, 1947 to Bob and Kathleen Glass in Columbia, Missouri. Glenda graduated from Hickman High School in 1965 and married her husband, Terry Sapp, March 6, 1965. She worked as a bookkeeper most of her life for the family construction business and in her spare time ran Good Time Country from 1976 – 1989, where she spent many fun Saturday nights. Glenda was outgoing, fun-loving, and always up for a game of cards, a trip to the Amish, or a weekend at the lake before her debilitating stroke in December 2018. Her husband, Terry, took loving care of her in the years after her stroke and was by her side until the end.
Glenda is survived by her husband of nearly 58 years, Terry; her daughter Denise Nelson (Rick) of Columbia; son Nathan Sapp (Anjee) of Columbia; three grandchildren, Nicholas Nelson, Brittany Nelson, and Talon Sapp. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Kathleen Glass.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s, which was special to Glenda.
Private services and interment will take place at Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Park Cemetery of Columbia.
