George William Gibson, 68 of Columbia passed away Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his home.
George was born on October 17, 1953 in Columbia, Mo. He graduated from David H Hickman High school in 1971, and received his Bachelor of Science from Columbia College 1982. He served in the United States Army for 5 years where he served overseas and was honorably discharged in 1977.
George was a photography enthusiast and loved all things racing.
George was proceeded in death by his wife of 20 years, Carla Gibson.
He is survived in death by his daughter, Taylor Gibson and his two grandchildren, Owen Gibson and Carla Gibson-Thompson.
He is also survived by his sisters, Linda Phillips and Jennifer Gibson Garner and their children, Graham Phillips, Rachel Walker, Casey Garner, and Jozie Garner.
