Georganne was born February 26, 1930 in Columbia, the daughter of George Lee Quinn and Alma Whitfield. She was a 1948 graduate of Hickman High School where she was a member of the Blue Triangle, the Kewpie Band, Triship and Dance Club. Her motto was “A tender heart, a loyal mind”. She also graduated from Stephens College May 30, 1950 with an AA degree. On July 2, 1950, she married Victor Andrew “Andy” Lanham, and he preceded her in death. She served as a Boone County Court clerk for Judge Temple Morgett for many years, then went on the serve as secretary for several departments throughout the University of Missouri until her retirement. She enjoyed being outdoors, and tending to her garden. She was active at the Columbia Senior Center, where she could often be found shooting pool and having fun with her friends. She loved to walk at the Columbia Mall in the mornings and then visit with friends over lunch in the Café Court.
She is survived by her sons, Rick (Caroline) Lanham of Columbia, and Mark (Anita) Lanham of Centralia. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Jack Quinn.
