Dennis Lynn Welty, age 66, of Columbia, MO passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 29, 2015. He was born on March 3, 1949 in Mt. Sterling, IL, the son of Barbara “Mary” (Gillenwater) and Delbert “Richard” Welty. Survivors include his wife, Connie; daughter, Christy Ludeman and her spouse, James; son, Richard Welty; 3 grandchildren: David, Julia, and Anthony Ludeman; 1 great grandchild, Natalie Ludeman; 1 brother, Scott Welty; 3 sisters: Theresa Kindhart, Connie Burch, and Alice Harbison. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Gayle Welty. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00-1:00 on Tuesday. Burial with full military honors will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Dennis’ Memorial Fund and sent in care of the funeral home.
