Dave loved to do yard work. He was known to mow the grass even if most thought it didn’t need it. He greatly enjoyed the flowers and shrubbery he planted and maintained. His constant companion indoors and out was his beloved rescue dog, Kendra. He enjoyed watching local sports teams, especially if a grandchild was playing. Dave and Lil enjoyed traveling, cooking for and hosting family, in his prior years he practiced amateur photography, but most importantly raising several grandchildren and watching the many great grands grow and thrive.
Dave retired after many years working at Columbia Ready Mix. He was a former active member in the Columbia Tiger Shrine Club and the Columbia Masonic Lodge. He saw first-hand some of the wonderful work done by both, before declining health prevented his further participation.
