David Allen Kruck

David Allen Kruck, 40, of Columbia passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at University Hospital. A Gathering of Friends will take place at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.

David was born in Saratoga Springs, NY on July 31, 1981, the son of Jane (Wright) Kruck and the late David James Kruck. David was employed by Boone County at the time of his passing. David and his loving husband, Rick Dominquez, built a life together around his two sons, Finnegan and Oliver. They remained the center of his universe. David enjoyed exploring new adventures, pranking his friends, helping those in need, and living life to the fullest. He was a humble soul who was always in search of truth. He enjoyed doing anything in the outdoors.

David is survived by his spouse, Rick Dominquez; two sons, Finnegan Allen Kruck and Oliver Thomas Kruck; his mother, Jane Kruck of Wilmington, IL; one sister, Jennifer Jo (Jake) Tenn of Greenback, TN; one niece, Hanna Tenn; one nephew, Conner Tenn; one grandmother, JoAnn DeClute of La Crosse, WI; two four-legged family members, Chance and Marley; as well as a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, David Kruck and two grandfathers, Ken Kruck and William DeClute.
