A visitation will be held Saturday, December 5, 2015, from 10 am to 11 am with the service at 11 am at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born on January 13, 1950, in Columbia, MO, to J.C. and Helen Estes, who preceded him in death. He graduated in 1967 from David Hickman High School. He worked for various colleges in Columbia and retired from University of Missouri.
He is survived by three sisters Rose (Willie) Davis, Betty Estes, Julia Estes all of Columbia; one brother Steve Estes of Columbia, four nieces Erica Davis, Melissa (Joe) Weakly of Columbia, Donna (Craig) Fenner of Florissant, MO, Jennifer Dawson of Columbia; two nephews Mike Davis of Columbia, and Cliffton Goldman of Des Moines, IA, as well as multiple great and great-great nieces and nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by three brothers Don Estes, Lawrence Estes and Cecil Estes and one sister Marie Estes all of Columbia.
