Visitation will be on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home followed by a memorial service.
Connie was born in Columbia, MO on January 7, 1942 the daughter of J.W. and Evelyn (Penrod) Barnes who preceded her in death. She was married on January 8, 1960 to Norris McKinzie in Columbia, MO. She was employed for 10 years with MFA – Grain Division as an executive secretary. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and an avid Cardinal baseball fan.
Survivors include: her husband of 56 years, Norris McKinzie; one son, Eric McKinzie and his wife, Misty of Ashland, MO; one sister, Patsy Hampton of Columbia, MO and one grandson, Justin McKinzie of Ashland, MO. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Scott William McKinzie and Darren Garth McKinzie and two sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Barnes Jewish Hospital, 1 Barnes Jewish Hospital Plaza, Saint Louis, MO 63110.
