Carol Jackson, 81, of Columbia, MO passed away Sunday, December 25, 2022. Friends may gather from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Friday, December 30, 2022 at Memorial Funeral Home, 1217 Business Loop 70 West Columbia. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am with burial in MO State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, MO.
Carol was born July 12, 1941 in Rolla, MO to James and Pearl Brown Noah. She spent most of her life in Columbia, where her father owned a skating rink across from Douglas Middle School. She was a stay-at-home mom, raising her two children. She enjoyed cross stitch, ceramics, and knitting. Carol also loved to garden, but her true love was spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Jackson of Columbia; son, Billy McDow of Columbia; daughters, Jennifer Jackson of Moberly and Barb Tritschler of Kansas City; siblings, Dedee Reed and Jerry Noah; grandchildren, Brittany McCormack, Jordan and Hailey McDow, Josh Jackson, and Tyler Sterne; great grandchild, Roman Jackson; as well as many nieces and nephews and a loving extended family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
