Visitation will take place, 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home with a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor R. J. Thornton of Step of Faith Ministries officiating.
Brenda was born on November 14, 1941 in Paris, Missouri to Cleo Blecher and Pearl Elizabeth (Hill) Belcher. She was employed as a unit clerk at the Audrain Medical Center for over 30 years. She was proud to receive her 30 year service award before she retired. Brenda had a deep love for others. She loved her church family, enjoyed singing in the choir and visiting those who were ill. She loved raising her daughters and being a part of her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s’ lives. She was always happy when she was cooking for her family. She was love by many co-workers, friends and relatives.
She is survived by her daughters: Rhonda (Thomas) Bassett, Carmen (Fred) Grant, Carleen Coates, Gretchen Coates, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Frank Cason, Jr. and one sister, Edith Mae King.
