Bobby Glenn Walton, age 90, of Columbia, MO passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2023. He was born in Columbia, MO on February 15, 1933 to parents Tommie and Ethel (Watson) Walton. Bobby Graduated from Hickman High School in 1951. He was married to Shirley Dean Rhodes on December 23, 1953. Bobby served in the Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Wonder Bread after working there for 20+ years. Bobby was a member of the Columbia Baptist Temple and had a passion for fishing, hunting and golfing.
Bobby was predeceased by his parents, his wife and his sisters; Betty Turner and Thelma Crockrell.
He is survived by his children; Mike Walton, Mark Walton and Vicki Smith, grandchildren; Matthew (Shannon) Walton and Adam Smith, great-grandchildren; Jordan Walton, Alexis Walton and Jaxon Smith.
A visitation for Bobby will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home/Columbia, with a graveside and military honors in Memorial Park Cemetery.
